Stop Wasting Money on Bloated Utility Costs
Your current HVAC or utility system gets the job done. But it’s likely costing you a fortune. An aged HVAC or utility system has lower efficiency ratings which means you’re not getting the best value for your dollar. Parry Sound and Georgian Bay bring harsh winters that are very demanding on HVAC systems. We have the knowledge, skills, and products to turn your home into a money and energy saver instead of a money and energy waster.
AFUE and SEER
AFUE stands for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. It is the measure of how efficiently your furnace can utilize it’s fuel. The higher your AFUE rating, the more heat you’re getting out of each cubic foot of fuel you pay for.
SEER is the acronym for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. It is the ratio of the cooling output of an air conditioner over a typical season divided by the energy it uses in Watt-Hours. The higher your SEER rating, the more cool air you’re getting out of your electricity bill.
Use our tool below to find out how much an upgraded HVAC or utility system could be saving you year over year!
How do I find my AFUE and SEER ratings?
The AFUE and SEER rating are most commonly found on a yellow sticker called the ‘energyguide’ somewhere on the faceplate of your furnace and air conditioning unit.
